We could take this time to tell you about how great our company picnics are- that’s probably why you are reading this. But rather than make you sift through all the do’s and don’ts, we want to share some of our favorite company picnics for your inspiration.
A Day at the Ballpark

If you’re a Cincinnati company, you are probably full of sports fans. With iconic teams like the Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds, your employees wouldn’t miss the chance to see a game. This particular company picnic was at the Red’s stadium. Having worked with the Cincinnati Reds on many occasions, we know just what to bring to the table (or should we say, dugout?). Red and white striped stilt walkers high-fived every guest, from the tallest to the smallest. Face painters made sure that everyone was showing team spirit before the game, and they offered touch-ups during the seventh inning stretch. Prior to the game, our emcee talked the company guests through the events of the night and helped present awards. We even had a head through the table, hidden by a baseball helmet, ready to offer baseball jokes and puns whenever someone ventured over to eat the strawberries surrounding their helmet!
A Day near the ballpark – or rather, Smale Park.

Having more room to roam is what this company wanted for their family picnic, and they couldn’t have picked a better location. Right on the river in downtown Cincinnati, this massive park offered us a blank slate to create exactly what they wanted: a summer, carnival themed company picnic. We had carnival food and games (prizes included), bounce houses, cotton candy machines, frozen lemonade, photo booths, and strolling magicians. Everyone was a kid again, and the picnic and theme were a surefire hit.
On site
Sometimes, home sweet home is the way to go. GE has a huge campus and invites us on a yearly basis; so, we are familiar with the territory, and each year they want to go bigger and better. Obstacle courses, giant inflatables, rock walls, and our trackless train were very popular last year with the kids and the kids-at-heart. A bonus about having the company picnic on site, is that everyone knows where it is and already feels comfortable.
It’s all about you and your organization
While we’ve done a lot of great company picnics in Cincinnati, we’re excited to get to do yours as well. We love a good challenge – whether it be a theme, or bringing together groups of individuals of different backgrounds and ages.
